Cell-free DNA and liquid-biopsy programs sometimes need larger starting volumes than typical 50–1000 µL bench extractors handle in a single well.
Volume class signals
Consider a large-volume extractor when:
- Plasma or other matrices require high input volume for low-abundance targets.
- You need low elution volumes after large inputs (manufacturer specs on 024L list elution from 50 µL).
- Protocols reference strip or strip-plate consumables rather than standard deep-well-only workflows.
MultiEX 024L positioning
The MultiEX 024L lists up to 8 mL per well and 1–24 samples per run in manufacturer specifications. Application framing may include cfDNA, liquid biopsy, wastewater, and eDNA — confirm protocol fit; this is not diagnostic approval content.
