- Nucleic Acid Extractors
Labs often ask whether they need a 16-, 32-, or 96-sample nucleic acid extractor. The MultiEX line separates these as distinct instruments — not one device with optional modules.
| Tier | Samples / run | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| MultiEX 016 | 1–16 | Compact bench, optional battery, smaller batches |
| MultiEX 032 | 1–32 | Mid-throughput molecular diagnostics |
| MultiEX 096P | 1–96 | Full-plate diagnostics, NGS prep, screening |
Shared vs different
All three standard tiers list 50–1000 µL processing volume and 96-well deep-well plate formats in manufacturer specifications. 096P is the tier that owns up to 96 samples per run — other models process subsets on the same plate format.
When to add 024L
If your workflow needs up to 8 mL starting volume per well, evaluate MultiEX 024L separately — it is a volume-class decision, not just more samples per run.
